Welcome to the online Stroke and TIA e-Learning Module.

This short course (estimated time is 10-15 minutes) is intended to assist you in learning the steps to assessing, grading and reacting to key symptoms of TIA’s and to initiate management of strokes.

The development and production of the Stroke and TIA e-Learning Module was made possible by resources provided by the Heart and Stroke Foundation of BC & Yukonand the BC Stroke Strategy. This support is greatly appreciated.

The course is based on the Stroke and Transient Ischemic Attack – Management and Prevention Guideline released by the BC Guidelines and Protocols Advisory Committee (GPAC) in April of 2009. This course is designed to review the guideline content and focus your learning on best practices outlined in it.
